This series showcases innovation in school food leadership across the state and fosters connections between Network members and offers peer-to-peer learning opportunities.

Learn about the Fresh from California campaign: an opportunity for school districts to increase access to California-grown fruits and vegetables. This session highlights ideas for increasing local procurement and guidance on activating connections with local fresh fruit and vegetable vendors.

    CDPH has encouraged distancing on campus, including cafeterias... salad bars are on hold for us. Additionally our meal counts have increased 189% compared to pre-covid. Time to eat has not increased to accommodate this …. Salad bars are on hold for now for our district. We package (sadly) our salads and veggies for now.
